Frank Saam began to study the art of violin making as a child. He apprenticed at the House of Primavera until he was 18. After graduating high school he moved to Belgium to work as a restorer for one year and then decided to apply to the top violin making school in the world - The International School of Violin Making in Cremona, Italy.
In 1992 he obtained his diploma and moved to Magnolia, New Jersey where he started his profession by opening his own workshop. Some of Frank Saam's instruments are being played in the Philadelphia Orchestra, Boston Symphony, Dallas Symphony and beyond.
